Aston Villa staved off a Southampton fightback as the Premier League’s bottom side earned a valuable 1-1 draw at St Mary’s on Saturday.

At this stage of The Rams’ record breaking season of uselessness they were already on six points, one more than Villa. He also missed the 3-2 defeat by Watford last Saturday. “It’s my job to make them stronger and more committed and more involved”, he said.
Mat Kendrick will be the man for us down there, providing you with coverage, build up, analysis and reaction. The 20-year-old is still training with the under-21s after being pictured in a Manchester nightclub just hours after Villa’s 4-0 drubbing at Everton.
