Mauricio Pochettino ‘happy’ for Tottenham to be talked about as Premier League
He has a reputation as a very hard businessman?

Advocates point to the club’s consistent challenging for Champions League football, a state-of-the-art training ground and a new 61,000-seater stadium on the way.
It is Levy preparing for a second crack in January at Saido Berahino – after his acrimonious, summer face-off with his West Brom counterpart Jeremy Peace.
Tottenham are fifth in the table and are now on a 13-game unbeaten run in the league.
Speaking in an interview with the Spurs TV, ahead of tomorrow’s clash against West Brom, Pochettino said: “This is the core of the club”. “For me, Daniel is a brilliant man. After 18 months, I can judge him and I don’t care about the past”.
“For me, he is one of the best presidents in England or in the world”.
“For me, I can only praise him”.
“We always share all the decisions. But for me, he’s a fantastic man and, with his knowledge, I can learn a lot from him”.
Alli admitted that the Tottenham players were disappointed after failing to close the game out, noting: “It’s important that we pick ourselves up”.
“The most important thing is how our supporters, our people, “feel” the team”.
“We hope at the end of the season we feel the same as we do today”.
“We are very happy with our squad”.
The forward’s involvement against a side he was desperate to join will serve as a reminder to Spurs fans of what Levy missed, but Pochettino insists outside perceptions of the chairman are often misguided.
“He’s very clever, I’ve learned a lot from him in every chat, in every meeting”, said Pochettino, before laughing and adding: “When he negotiates with me, now I am very strong!”
However, with Spurs very much in the hunt for a top four finish, Pochettino knows this could be a huge season for the Lilywhites and admits he wants to sign another striker to ease the goalscoring burden now on Kane’s shoulders.
“It was a big surprise when I met Daniel”, Pochettino said.
“All I heard was he sacked managers and was very tough”.

The north London club have a number of players who would thrive in the Championship, that now aren’t in the manager’s first-team plans, and are just on the fringes of the squad. “It’s true that he pushes us, which is very good for the club”.
