Former Disney star Tiffany Thornton’s husband Chris Carney has died, according to multiple reports. Carney and another man, Ezekiel Blanton, were pronounced dead on the scene after the vehicle they were in slammed into a tree while going around a bend. He was featured in the MTV show “twentyfourseven” that followed him and his younger brother Greg’s move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. Lovato’s boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, is also a godfather to Thornton and Carney’s 3-year-old son, Kenneth James “KJ” Carney.

Tiffany was already struggling with the loss of friend Brittany Blanton, who she paid tribute to on Thursday.
Carney leaves behind not only his wife but their two children. “There were tons of laughs and tons of tears and I’ll never forget the way he looked at her”, she wrote, alongside a shot from the couple’s wedding.
The show was a flop and his band broke up, leaving Carney down and out, according to a 2011 Arkansas Time profile.

The “Cool for the Summer” singer appeared to express her shock at the double dose of sad news via Twitter on Friday, simply tweeting, “This isn’t real”. “He turned his life around and made his life right”, she told ET. I Love you KING!!!!
