Arsenal trio Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla & Laurent Koscielny Injured vs Norwich

He says it’s a kick on his hamstring but I fear that is not really the reality. I must say with all humility we are not in a position where we can predict (injuries) despite all our tests.

Dutch fitness guru and former Wales assistant coach, Raymond Verheijen, has slammed Arsene Wenger for his part in Alexis Sanchez’s injury, saying that “deep down” he knew he shouldn’t have played him, per the Daily Star.

However, I think the manager needs to have a word with him about his role when playing on the right.

“It would be fantastic for the kid’s career to go through, so I have to be honest and say that I would like the kid and Olympiakos to go on”.

We’ll know more this week about Sanchez’s status, but it seemingly appears that he could be out for a very long time.

Sanchez played the whole 90 minutes against Dinamo, even though the game was won with 20 minutes to go after he scored his second to put the Gunners 3-0 up.

It was the second straight Premier League disappointment for the Gunners after a loss to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, and they missed the chance to move level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City and Leicester. He barely managed to get any rest after that, when he was thrown into the mix of the domestic season, playing nearly every game in the Premier League and in the Champions League.

“We lost Sanchez, Cazorla played on one leg and of course we lost Koscielny at the start of the game, it is a fair point for Norwich”.

But the likes of Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta all in the treatment room alongside Coquelin, with a lack of central midfielders the main issue Wenger is likely to address if he buys in the transfer window. “There are a lot of young players in the team waiting to come through, and we have a lot of quality training with us every day”, Bellerin told the club’s website (www.arsenal.com). “At least we have an opportunity to come back”. We don’t need to worry about (the injuries).

There was better news about Laurent Koscielny who lasted just 11 minutes against Norwich before suffering a hip problem with the centre-back hoping to be fit to face Sunderland on Saturday.

“We’ve all seen how good Arsenal can be”, he said.
