Tyson Fury ready to retire at the top after Klitschko triumph
The unbeaten British fighter pulled off one of the most sensational upsets in the history of boxing’s heavyweight division when he dethroned champion Wladimir Klitschko and took the WBA, WBO and IBF belts at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

“I’ve had no contact with them [Klitschko’s team] since the fight but they’ve got a window to decide whether they want to step up or down”, Hennessy told ESPN.
THE world’s media descended on the Macron Stadium this afternoon to greet new heavyweight boxing champion of the world Tyson Fury.
“I thought then that I never want my kids to go through that. No matter where it might be, I want to be the undisputed champion of the world”.
‘Next year is going to be a great year for me, regardless. Haye recently announced that he will be coming back after a brief hiatus from the sport, while Fury is now on top of the division by grabbing all three belts from the Ukrainian Klitschko. Fury said that Haye caused him “mental and physical torture”, so the drugging claims don’t appear to be too out-of-character.
The reality is that Wilder turned professional after taking bronze at the 2008 Olympics, and has a 35-0 professional record. Let’s laugh at his name, shall we?’ Fury said after seeing off Klitschko.
– It was Klitschko’s first loss in his past 23 fights.
“I came here to Germany, in the lion’s den, so I’ve done a good job against Wladimir Klitschko”, said Fury, who added, “my Lord, my rock, my Savior, my salvation gave me the glory tonight”. However, Klitschko was boring as shit and I can not imagine an exciting or memorable Era of Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder or whoever else is a contender today.
While speculation continues to rage over Fury’s next opponent – he has distanced himself from a showdown with former world champion David Haye – the self-styled “Gypsy King” sees no reason why he should censor his views.

A rematch beckons, a stipulation the Klitschko camp insisted upon in the fight contract. We’ve got to have a sit down with my team, with me going into a singing career. If I don’t fight again, I’ll know I’ve achieved what I set out to do. I don’t care if he says I can make £10 million, it’s not about money for me. That means Joshua is going to need to somehow beat Whyte, and I’m not sure that he can do that.
