Curry scores 44 as Warriors improve to 21-0
At one point, Stephen Curry ran into DeMarre Carroll so hard that he ended up on the ground and needed some quick treatment.

With Stephen Curry scoring a game-high of 44 points, the Golden Warriors continued their golden streak in the season, with an exciting 112-109 win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.
“It’s really been good – 21 different challenges and we’ve been able to separate each individually and figure out different ways to win”, Curry said. While Curry glides with the ball in his hands, Lowry crashes and bangs.
But there’s just something about playing the Raptors that takes Curry to an even better place as he continued to torment this franchise more than he does any other. Curry, who is averaging 35.1 points in 34.1 minutes in road games, once again proved to be too much to handle for Toronto, nailing nine 3-pointers – including three in a 14-point fourth quarter.
Klay Thompson had 15 of his 21 points in the first quarter as the Warriors bolted to an early 15-point lead. “It’s something that when they look back on, just like the National Basketball Association (record), when the season’s over, their careers are over, it will be one of those special, special things that they can say they are a part of in the history books”. The times I’ve gotten 40 I’ve been very happy with it, and he just seems to not be content. His skill level and ability to shoot are unparalleled. “Sometimes we want to think of it as next month or next week or this year, and sometimes it’s one, two or however many years away where you see teams that are toiling to keep being more competitive”. He went shot-for-shot with Curry from start to finish. “Teams are coming out aggressive and we aren’t matching their intensity”, point guard Kyle Lowry told reporters. Defensively, the Raptors yield 96.3 points against the opposing teams. He’s doing an incredible job of picking his spots. Terrence Ross showed some life offensively and Patrick Patterson was active on the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds. The Raptors point guard went for 41 points on 14-of-26 shooting (including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc), breaking his previous career-high of 39 set last December at the Utah Jazz.
“They are 21-0 for a reason”, Raptors coach Dwane Casey said.
The Raptors held a five-point lead with six minutes to play, but the Curry hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Warriors a lead they would not relent – though the Raptors had multiple chances to overtake them.
Curry spent three of his childhood years in Toronto, chucking up shots at the Air Canada Centre while his dad Dell played for the Raptors.

“It’s tough when you have that opportunity”, said Lowry. We had them down to a last possession of both games. Green responded with two foul shots for Golden State.
