Ben Roethlisberger Active, Heath Miller Out
After a confusing Tuesday, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told Channel 11’s Bill Phillips that he was told he can practice on Wednesday.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said Tuesday morning that he didn’t think he suffered a concussion during Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, but self-reported a head injury to the team’s medical staff just in case.
Roethlisberger, who had issues with his peripheral vision after a helmet-to-helmet hit from Seattle’s Michael Bennett, said after Sunday’s game that he’ll play through any injury except one to the brain.
“I’m no doctor, and I’m not going to try to get into that”, Tomlin said.
At the end of Pittsburgh’s tough road loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Roethlisberger took quite a combination high/low shot from a pair of Seahawks defenders.
Still, if Roethlisberger’s recent comments are any indication, he should be in the starting lineup for Sunday night’s primetime matchup against the Colts-with our secondary once again having their hands full.
Roethlisberger said the initial diagnosis was a traumatic ocular migraine that later was confirmed as a concussion after he took the ImPACT test. Roethlisberger explained what happened in his weekly 93.7 radio spot shortly after taking that test. “I did go into the protocol and took the test yesterday”.
Pulling himself out of a game in which the Steelers trailed 32-30 late in the fourth quarter was not an easy decision to make. What’s unclear, at least to Roethlisberger, is whether he had a concussion at all.
“I took the test this morning”, he said Wednesday, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. That’s all I know. With the passing game finding its momentum, Roethlisberger is the quarterback to carry that out in the coming games. “I guess if you are allowed to practice, you can play“. As you can imagine, the contradictory announcement left many people scratching their heads, including Roethlisberger. I think we were 2-4 with touchdowns last week.
I don’t want my teammates, my linemen, my running backs and everybody you’ve played with, when you have reunions, when we have this Super Bowl XL reunion however many years from now, I don’t want guys hobbling on the sidelines and drooling and not being able to remember things. “It’s not like I’m woozy, dizzy, falling down – I could see straightforward no problem, it was just the periphery”.

“When you’re done you want to be a husband or father, and if I have these brain injuries it’s not worth it”, he said, according to the report. I thought we were battle tested, we continue to stay the course, we found a way.
