Tyson Fury tipped to stop Klitschko in rematch

Klitschko’s performance on Saturday baffled observers and the Ukrainian clearly believes his defeat was a one-off rather than any indication of advancing years taking their toll on the 39-year-old.

“I’ll be making use of my contractual option for a rematch with Fury”.

Heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KO) has opted to exercise the rematch clause in his contract with Tyson Fury and fight the world heavyweight champion for a second time.

“I had good information off good resources not to touch anything in the changing rooms because they might try and drug you”, Fury said on his return to Britain following his shock victory over Klitschko in Duesseldorf on Saturday. “I was so frightened of being drug tested and failing the drugs test. I didn’t want to take drinks or food from anyone”.

Fury took Klitschko’s WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight belts, as well as the minor IBO title.

Tyson Fury, 27, has also said he is willing to face Klitschko again in Germany and a decision on the venue will be determined by where the fight can make the most money.

“I went home dehydrated before I even touched anything, I was so frightened of being drug-tested and failing the drugs test”, he said, recounting the events leading to the bout over the weekend.

Tyson Fury has told his challengers to get in line as he plots world domination next year. “I would like it to be back here in the United Kingdom”, he said.

“To be honest it doesn’t matter to me where I fight”.

Deontay Wilder has challenged Tyson Fury to a unification fight to decide who is the world’s number one heavyweight.

“A source close to Fury said last night: “£50m would not be far wrong for such a colossal fight when you consider we could sell out Wembley, plus pay-per-view-TV and all the rest of it. “BUT: I have to thank my fans, my team and all my partners. The German people really did show me some love, and I just hope I entertained”.

“We are looking, me and [Fury’s promoter] Mick Hennessy, to put the fight on in the United Kingdom, if we can”.
