A careful viewing of the video doesn’t prove or disprove if the man had a straight razor. Shots were fired and the subject is deceased.

The officer fired the gun and the man fell backwards to the ground. “That’s when I heard the gunshots”. “He left without the money”, Oates said. The officer, a six-year veteran, is Hispanic.

Florida cops shot and killed a suspected bank robber armed with a barber’s razor in the middle of a Miami Beach road, officials said.

Miami Beach police and the FBI are investigating the bank robbery. She said she did not see a Taser go off.

Police found the man a short time later about a block away, at the RazzleDazzle Barbershop on 1530 Alton Rd. When he did emerge he had removed his shirt and was armed with the razor, the chief said. However, state law prohibits releasing the bodycam video to the media at this point, he said. I just want my coffee with 3 creams and 3 sugars. “I feel nauseous”, she said.

Witnesses told The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/1NO2Pjw ) that the man was seen causing a commotion inside the barber shop.

“He was gesturing for them to like come at him”, Stephanie Dsoto said. “Calm down, we are on your side, we are trying to help you.’ That lasted about five minutes and after about five minutes of that they made a decision to shoot him”.

Event photographer Marcellus Johnson, 41, of Miami filmed some of the confrontation on his cell phone and said many other bystanders were doing the same. “When he puts his hand on the police auto, he said something”.

Johnson said he thinks officers used a stun gun on the suspect.

Miami-Dade Det. Marjorie Eloi said that only one officer was involved in the shooting.

Another person thought the police tape around the scene of the incident was actually an art installation. The city’s police superintendent stepped down and some people urged Mayor Rahm Emanuel to resign, too.
