Man Dressed As A Clown Terrorizing The Locals Of A Town
We spoke about unusual phobias in our earlier article. Now here is one phobia that a lot many people are afflicted by. In fact, Northampton a town in the UK is being terrorized by a man who dresses up as a clown and walks around the town in the night. The clown looks like something out of a Stephen King novel, which is why it is not so unusual for people to be afraid of him. Add to that the fact that he did weird things like knock on a woman’s door and offer to paint her windowsills although he wasn’t carrying any paint or other stuff needed for painting and you might think there is a psycho on the loose.

This clown is said to make sudden appearances in the night and the only thing that makes him a little less scary is the fact that he has his very own Facebook group. All his activities are detailed here, so you can find out what he has been up to and what he is planning to do, just in case you plan to avoid him. This clown has deliberately fashioned himself after Pennywise from Stephen King’s famous novel “It” and made his first appearance on Friday the 13th. The locals of Northampton aren’t very pleased with his appearance, which comes as no surprise.
The clown on his part defended his action on Facebook, saying all he wants is “to be spotted”. He goes on to say that his intention isn’t to scare anyone. Besides this he has also confessed that he isn’t on Twitter as it confuses “the heck” out of him. He has even shared the fact that he feels he is unfit and would be out for a jog near a pond in the town. There are a number of people in town who suffer from Coulrophobia and have begged the clown to stop his nighttime jaunts.

A woman named Kelly Keen tried drilling some sense into the clown by writing “”You’ve been spotted, now get out of the clown suit and start acting like a grown up that you supposing are and stop scaring people as some people do have real fears of clowns and you are terrorizing them despite what you may say.” Here’s hoping that the clown stops doing the things he is doing before he is lynched by a mob.
