Tony Romo Injury: How Serious Is Dallas Quarterback’s Left Collarbone?
Yahoo Sports has reported that after getting sacked by Panther Linebacker Thomas Davis at the end of the third quarter, Romo came up clutching the same left shoulder he injured during the second week of the season.

According to ESPN, Romo admitted that he felt the same sensation when he broke his collarbone earlier this season, causing him to miss seven games.
The Dallas Cowboys lost their quarterback Tony Romo for the remainder of the season after breaking his left collarbone for the second time this season.
The Cowboys franchise quarterback suffered the injury in the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
Romo laid on the field for several minutes following the hit before walking off as he favored his left arm.
“Whether you like it not, when you don’t play for eight weeks it’s tough to come back and be the guy you want to be”, said Cowboys Vice President Stephen Jones.
“I’m just very disappointed in not giving our team the chance to win today”.
Dallas quarterback Tony Romo completed 11 of 21 passes for 106 yards and three interceptions.
Jay Cutler threw for 200 yards and a touchdown as the Bears stunned the Packers, 17-13, at Lambeau Field. “When we show up and stop the runs we’ve been preparing for all week, it’s pretty fun to go out there and see the same stuff you’ve been seeing all week”.
Matt Cassel took over for Romo on Thursday after the starter left with the injury.
He ended up losing for the first time in four starts this season. That being said, can this Carolina Panthers team that failed to produce a winning record last year actually run the table this year and make history by being the NFL’s first 19-0 team?
After Romo was hurt in Philadelphia, he went on injured reserve with a designation to return – and his first game eligible to play again was Sunday against the Dolphins.
The Cowboys released Weeden the week Romo was activated, and he signed with Houston.

Expect head coach Jason Garrett to establish a strong ground game with Cassel in at quarterback, as he will look to alleviate pressure on the backup quarterback. It’s just the latest in a string of injuries over the past few seasons. If he’s completely cleared, and if he feels good, he’ll start. The Packers (7-4) lost a second straight home game. Panther WR Jerricho Cotchery had five catches for a game-high 73 yards, and four of them converted third downs.
