The FBI and Miami Beach Police Department will be investigating the bank robbery.

First a “hold up” was reported Saturday morning at a Bank of America in Miami Beach, Miami Beach Police Department Kathleen Prieto said.
From there the suspect, fled the bank bare hand when he ran into a nearby barbershop, where he grabbed a straightedge razor and ran into the street, where he was surrounded by officers.
The suspect refused to exit the barbershop then emerged with a straight edge razor in his hand, police said.
“He was challenged by the officers in the street”, Oates said, “and at some point during that confrontation he did raise his hand with a straight edge razor in it, and he was shot”.
Shots were fired by officers and the suspect was killed at the scene, officials said.
The posting shows a shirtless man stepping toward some police officers, eventually putting his hand on a police cruiser.
Crews transported a woman to the hospital Friday evening after, police said, she was stabbed by another woman during an argument at an Art Basel event inside the Miami Beach Convention Center.
“As we learn more about this incident from Miami-Dade police, from the state attorney’s office, we will make sure to keep everyone informed”, he said. “We couldn’t hear what he said, but whatever he said triggered that police officer to start shooting”.
Rodriguez said it appeared the officer who shot the man flashed a slight smile and gave a thumbs up to other officers at the scene.
While at a shopping plaza across the street from the incident on Alton, bystander John Pérez said he saw the man waving the razor inside the barbershop.
North Palm Beach Police are investigating after a Muslim place of worship was found badly vandalized, early Friday.
“He was gesturing for them to like come at him”, Stephanie Dsoto said.

Marcellus Johnson, who shot the video posted on Instagram, told CNN he was walking to get coffee when he noticed a crowd of people with their camera phones up. After threatening to shoot a customer, the man left without money and didn’t leave an explosive device behind, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said. A scream can be heard. “I feel nauseous”, she said.
