Radcliffe was just 11 years old at the time of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone release.

Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way from his “Harry Potter” days.

The five-minute clip features Daniel-then a wee English lad with no concept of the phenomenon he would become-talking to an off-camera Hagrid about dragon eggs and basically looking adorable as hell.

Radcliffe previously opened up about how he thought it would be “very weird” to see another actor besides himself play Harry, as HNGN previous reported. The second scene that Radcliffe read was a little darker than the first, and showed the boy-who-lived as he talked about his dead mother and father.

There’s practically no better pick-me-up to turn your real world-induced frown upside-down (or more like right-side-up?) than revisiting the “Harry Potter” series. That’s followed by a more sober scene on the death of the boy wizard’s parents, and a chance to try on those iconic round lensed glasses.
