Crystal Dynamics is not at all anxious about rumors that “Rise of the Tomb Raider” did not make an impressive display of sales during its launching. Lastly, there’s Cold Darkness Awakens, releasing sometime in 2016. The trailer noted the DLC adds hours of new gameplay. The Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass costs $29.99. Microsoft teases that “Rise of the Tomb Raider” gamers will get their hands on this mystical new mission by early 2016. No exact release date had been pinned yet.

Brian Horton of Crystal Dynamics posted a note on the Tomb Raider forums, where he said that he expects to win in the upcoming Game Awards. Endurance Mode will be the first DLC, where Lara must “scrounge, scavenge, craft and survive the harsh elements by day, as well as lethal threats from enemies, both man and beast, by night”. Lara’s search for a missing person becomes a desperate battle against the legendary crone deep in a mysterious Siberian forest – or is she just super high from all that weird pollen floating around? Baba Yaga is rumored to be haunting the forbidden forest, but there may be more to the legend.

Cold Darkness Awakened hasn’t been given a release window in 2016 but will take Lara to a decommissioned weapons research base where beasts and men have been turned into mindless killers – this horde style mode will pit your combat skills against increasingly hard odds, so be sure to scavenge for equipment and stay on your toes – it’s going to be a rough ride for Lara. Like the other two DLCs, this one will also come with a new outfit and weapon. The Silver and Gold version will score players an extra Uncommon and Rare card respectively. The rest of the packs namely Prophet’s Legacy, Ancient Vanguard and Wilderness Survivor will be released next year.
