He specifies that he’s written it for Italian singer Zucchero, so don’t expect to hear it at a U2 gig.

In their first interview after the attacks, the band said they said they wanted to finish their tour, with frontman Jesse Hughes adding, “I want to be the first person to play in the Bataclan when it opens up”.
“We’re back in Paris and it’s great to be here”, U2 said in a statement. U2 is set to play the venue on Sunday 6 December and Monday 7 December – although it hasn’t yet been disclosed which night Eagles of Death Metal will appear on stage.
Last month, Bono promised to “put on our best for Paris” after announcing the rescheduled concert series – saying the shows would honor the lives lost in the attacks.
Irish rockers U2 kept their promise to return to Paris tonight after they were forced to cancel two concerts in the city in the wake of the recent terrorist killings.
The song is called “Streets of Surrender” and Bono recited some of the lyrics during a new video interview.
Every man’s got one city of liberty. “I came down these streets of love and pride to surrender”. “Nous sommes tous Parisiens, we are all Parisians”, said the singer, who also talked about the grieving power of music and said rock n’ roll saved him from the pain of losing his mother at age 16.
“We have another surprise guest planned for tonight’s show”.
Earlier, U2 dismissed rumors that it would be joined on stage Sunday by Eagles of Death Metal, the band that was performing in the Bataclan concert venue when suicide bombers stormed it November 13.
Rumours have been circulating in the music press that the band will join U2 on stage in Paris for Monday’s show, though neither camp has yet confirmed the appearance.
