No U.S. president should pressure Israel to surrender land to which God gave it the title deed, Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said Thursday, distinguishing himself from others in the field by declaring his opposition to the “two-state solution”.

Seven Palestinians were shot and injured by Israeli army fire during clashes that took place following the fatal shooting, while scores of residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

“I want to wait until I meet with Bibi”, Trump said, referring to his upcoming meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when Trump is scheduled to visit the country later this month.

Trump was also very vague when RJC executive director Matt Brooks asked him about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the peace process, which he had spoken about to the AP earlier.
