Russian Government Bans Charter Flights to Turkey
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu dismissed Russian allegations that Turkey was buying oil from Islamic State as “Soviet-style propaganda” on Thursday and said the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation member was doing all it could to secure its border with Syria.

Russia’s imports from Turkey were $3.1 billion in January-September 2015, with Ankara’s turnover of goods with Moscow equalling $18.1 billion (4.6 percent) of all Russian trade.
Mr Kabil said that an offer has been presented to his Russian counterpart, Mr Denis Manturov, to help cover Russia’s needs.
Moscow deployed long-range air defense missile systems to its base in Syria and slammed an array of economic sanctions on Turkey, including a ban on imports of fruit and vegetables and the sales of tour packages.

The Turkish leader has denied Russian President Vladimir Putin’s earlier claims of Turkey’s participation in petroleum commerce with all the IS, and has vowed to step down if its accusations are proven by Moscow.
