8 things to watch for vs. the Colts
Last week they put 30 points past the vaunted Seahawks defense, albeit in defeat. The team has given up 45 points in each of its last two contests.

Ben Roethlisberger, who coming into Sunday night had started and completed only three games all season, threw like he had himself on his fantasy team, hurling remarkable touchdown passes to Brown (twice), Martavis Bryant and Markus Wheaton. But while the Steelers found their footing, the Colts never got to their feet.
As the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Indianapolis Colts at home on Sunday Night Football, the majority of the games will be finished by the time theirs starts in the evening.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport relayed Sunday morning that Colts owner Jim Irsay believes that Luck (abdomen/kidney) should be back in time for Week 15’s game against the Texans.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts did battle in Week 13 on the prime time stage, and following the game there are players who should be recognized for their contributions, as well as their deficiencies throughout the game. Let’s not forget that victory for Dallas here would pull them within just one win of Washington in the NFC East and so keep their play-off hopes alive.
Second quarter, 8:26 left: Matt Hasselbeck hits Frank Gore for nine-yard touchdown.
While it is unfortunate the Patriots are dealing with so many injuries, the game may play into Philadelphia’s hands, especially on defense.
The Steelers have surrendered at least 300 yards passing in three consecutive games after allowing that many just once over the first eight games (they gave up a season-high 354 on October 12 at San Diego). Both teams now sit at 6-5, with the Colts now leading the subpar AFC South and the Steelers trailing two teams for a Wild Card spot. Not only will they have the advantage of going up against backup offensive linemen, they’ll also be dealing with a 40-year-old quarterback in Hasselbeck, who doesn’t bring any of the same mobility to the table that Luck does when he’s on the field. It tends to happen when Ben Roethlisberger is under center and the Indianapolis Colts are on the other side. They have a 6-5 record overall.
Brown was doubled routinely by the Colts, and it didn’t matter, as he still had eight catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
On third-and-three and operating as he did much of the first half in theno-huddle offense, Roethlisberger threw deep down the right sideline.
09 NOV 2014: Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller (83) during the game between the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. He should try and play the Colts more often.

The Steelers led the 6-3 after a sloppy first quarter which featured two turnovers for each team.
