Lauren Murray voted off X Factor

The former “X Factor” contestant has praised his former competitors to admit that while he’d like to see his former teammate Che Chesterman win the singing contest, he does have a soft spot for the duo.

On last night’s show, Louisa got a standing ovation from all four judges for her rendition of It’s A Man’s World, with Cheryl Fernandez Versini hailing her as “absolutely fantastic” and Simon Cowell saying she had delivered a “masterclass”.

Olly Murs and Caroline Flack revealed that Lauren would go home and Che would join Reggie “N” Bollie and Louisa in the final at Wembley next Saturday. This left Louisa, Ché and Lauren teetering on the edge of being in the sing-off.

It left Che Chesterman and Lauren Murray in the bottom two and having to face the sing-off for the second time this series. Sharon’s fun and I love Nicole Scherzinger. “You had real passion and fire and that is a performance everyone will remember”.

Louisa, who is being mentored by Rita Ora, has been showing off a voice far more mature than her young years – as proved by her Saturday night performance. That said, I wonder what the odds are that Reggie N Bollie actually win this thing.

It seems Lauren knew it was coming however, as X Factor viewers spotted Lauren predicting the result in tonight’s show, as she mouthed “it’s Louisa” moments before she was voted into the final.

With the judges’ votes in a deadlock, the contestant with the fewest number of votes from the public had to be eliminated.

Simon Cowell once again opted to let the public decide on who should stay and who should go after doing the same with 4th Impact and Murray last week.

“Hold yourself together for the second song – don’t rush it”.

Simon disagreed: “I like both of you – I want you both in the final – Che you’re a great singer, lLuren you’re a great singer you didn’t have your best week because you’ve been sick – I’m going to say Che”.
