According to a news channel reports, a few bugs were found in its packets in Jind, Haryana. The shop owner had no idea how the insect got inside the sealed packet.

Baba Ramdev had launched Patanjali instant noodles immediately after Nestle’s Maggi noodles were banned and millions of packets of Maggi noodles were pulled out of the market.

Mumbai: Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Noodles land themselves in trouble within weeks after the launch.

While many dismiss these initial reports, there is no denying that incidents like these could snowball into a bigger controversy.

The shopkeeper has admitted that the packet was purchased from his outlet and the customer is reportedly planning to file litigation against Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali.

As Catch had reported, the FSSAI had approved Patanjali’s pasta brand but not the noodles. However, Ramdev faced criticism for the same product when it was claimed that “Patanjali” did not take permission from Food Safety and Regulatory Authority of India (FSSAI) for manufacturing Atta Noodles while the product displayed fake FSSAI number.
