Of way less interest to the average iPhone user are reports that Apple rival/partner Samsung might be getting pushed aside as a component maker for iPhones.
Out of these rumors featured, which would you like to see when the iPhone 7 is released?
“[They] have all options on the table around the potential blockbuster iPhone 7 design and a thinner design is something that we hear is a possibility”, he said.
If the smaller iPhone were to be sold at a lower price it could also benefit Apple by appealing to a wider consumer base, and that would in turn help the adoption of Apple Pay. The details claim September 2016 is the date to watch and that the iPhone 7c will be launched ahead of the full-blown iPhone 7 (as well as, presumably, an iPhone 7 Plus).
The launch, which was part of a series of launches for the Apple mobile phone products across various regions of the world, was held last week in Micro Station’s sales outlet at the Computer Village market in Lagos, and it attracted several people that visited the Computer Village market on that day. We had also recently reported that the iPhone 6c might arrive by February 2016.
Rumors have been revolving around the possible successor of the iPhone 5c since long.
Furthermore, International Business Times added that Apple’s journey for thinner smartphones would still continue as the iPhone 7 could be even thinner. Kuo also forecasted that production for the new iPhone will begin in the first quarter of 2016 and that full-year shipments for the new device will be around 20 million units.
This latest report comes via MicGadget.com, which states that its sources are insiders from tech firms in China that supply Apple’s main manufacturing partner there; Foxconn. Some of those prototypes are being tested with USB Type-C connector compatible with headsets, wireless charging technology, multi-Force Touch, dual camera configurations and fingerprint recognition.

The KSG Securities analyst expects Apple to respond to demand for a smaller form factor with an estimated 15 million to 17 million 4-inch iPhones shipped in 2015. However, much though technology fans may love to see Apple disrupt that event with an attendance, the likelihood is that it will stick to its existing policy of specialist reveal events.
