Epic Games’ Paragon is a third-person MOBA

This is by far the most visually impressive MOBA now in development. Of course, Epic isn’t only working on ‘Paragon.’ A new ‘Unreal Tournament is also in the works.

Epic Games and the clarifications state that Paragon is like a traditional MOBA. We’ve met some of its stand-out characters over the last few weeks, detailing their strengths and powers, but without the context of what the game was about, it didn’t make much sense. This is what Sony did at Paris Games Week, saving local “beautiful, complicatedly flawed” games developer Quantic Dream’s Detroit as a show-stopping stinger. It’s 5v5, has three lanes of major travel and contains minions, cores and towers as focal points. A character can be chosen as a “hero” and each character has different abilities.

Epic Games showed their cinematic trailer, which looked indeed epic for their shooter/MOBA upcoming game. There would be decks and cards in Epic games that would be helping the players to add a twist to the game. This means climbing around the map, flying or jumping. There will be a paid Early Access scheme in next spring and an open beta in the summer. The title, which was officially debuted at PlayStation Experience, will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC in 2016.

Initials reports suggested that Paragon would only be available on PC but now it will also be available on Playstation 4.
