Experience Practicing With the New England Patriots in Virtual Reality
Google announced that 10,000 lucky fans of the New England Patriots will be getting a true glimpse of their favorite team. Your dream of catching a touchdown pass from Tom Brady may never happen, but you can at least see what it’s like to be on the practice field with the four-time Super Bowl victor.

Bank of America, in partnership with Visa, has created a 360-degree video, Travel Inside the Game to take fans of virtual reality (VR) and American football into the immersive centre of a New England Patriots practice. Ever wanted to see a 300-pound human run toward you at full speed? This is yet another Cardboard giveaway meant to bring virtual reality front and center to the types of folks who could eventually be converted into VR believers. Now if you don’t have a virtual reality headset, fret not because the 360-degree video was uploaded onto YouTube. Two months ago, the New York Times brought the device available to more than one million home subscribers.
Google’s Cardboard Camera is now available in 17 languages from the Google Play Store. Even more, they will be getting an excellent look of the Patriots practice session. This experience puts you square in the middle of the action where you get to follow them into their locker rooms, as well as placing you right on the field itself. These moments will pile up and soon people are going to have a thirst for this type of content all of the time. It’s not. Every single person that I’ve watched try VR immediately wants more.
