Of course similarly Rita did the same and stuck with her act Lauren, but added: “Che you’ve done so well, and you have one of the best voices in this competition”. This left Louisa, Ché and Lauren teetering on the edge of being in the sing-off.
I am definitely gutted to see her go!
But Reggie N Bollie evidently sailed through to the final, and X Factor viewers took to Twitter to express their outrage about that.
With guest star Lionel Richie watching from the audience after dishing out advice, they appeared to step it up for the big show.
Both Cheryl and Nick became emotional, with Che jumping off stage to give his mentor a hug.
She wept through her sing-off performance, and continued weeping as the judges cast their votes… He just didn’t think that Che’s version lived up to Amy’s.
On Saturday evening bookies’ favourite Louisa Johnson received a standing ovation from all four judges for her rendition of It’s A Man’s World, with praise from Simon for delivering a “masterclass”.
Energetic duo Reggie “N” Bollie, who are mentor Fernandez Versini’s last group in the show, performed a mash-up of I Gotta Feeling and I Like To Move It, as well as Locked Away by R City featuring Adam Levine.
They weren’t alone however, as Lauren Murray got a mixed bag of comments too.
Lauren Murray, “Take Me Home” by Jess Glynne – Great performance, but we think it’s a little bit easy for a contestant to come back and perform something that they’ve done at an earlier stage in the competition.

Simon disagreed: “I like both of you – I want you both in the final – Che you’re a great singer, lLuren you’re a great singer you didn’t have your best week because you’ve been sick – I’m going to say Che”.
