Feted Hollywood director JJ Abrams has shot down rumours that he edited out several of Lupita Nyongo’s scenes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens because her performance was lacking.
You know George Lucas, the guy whose life may or may not have been ruined by the franchise he created?
Fans visiting the Star Wars Launch Bay have a chance to check out movie memorabilia, props, and more. That theory appears to have been punctured by the new report. In the latest installment, the villain is Kylo Ren, a mysterious character portrayed by Adam Driver, who promises to finish what Darth Vader started.

Aside from fan anticipation, the movie faces lofty box office projections for the opening weekend, from US$170 million to US$220 million in just the United States and Canada, a level never achieved in December. Next year, the first Anthology film Rogue One will be released – but there won’t be any linking between The Force Awakens and the first spin-off. Currently Jurassic World holds the record with 208.8 Dollars million achieved in in June 2015.
