Lauren Murray voted off The X Factor

Of course similarly Rita did the same and stuck with her act Lauren, but added: “Che you’ve done so well, and you have one of the best voices in this competition”.

This weekend, “The X Factor” UK is presenting the last live performance show before the final!

They’ve been the surprise of this year’s X Factor and now Reggie n Bollie are heading to Newcastle tonight!

In the sing-off, Lauren conveniently sang Fight Song by Rachel Platten.

But there were more shocks to come when it was then announced that while Louisa Johnson had sailed through to the final alongside Reggie N Bollie, Lauren Murray and Ché Chesterman had to battle it out for the last finale place… It takes you a second to absorb the name!

It followed yet another incredible performance with her first song The Power Of Love. In a farewell statement on stage, Murray commented, “I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who voted [for] me, that believed in me all the way through the competition”.

Che Chesterman left Nick and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in tears with his performance of Amy Winehouse’s Love Is A Losing Game, with Cheryl saying: “I think Amy would have loved that”. I think he knew if he wasn’t I would have been worse, so he had to literally be like, “Stop it”. I was like, “I can’t do it, I can’t do it.’ I was literally starting to have a panic attack”.

“I had one eyelash up here, one down here, tears here”.

Meanwhile Louisa performed Christina Aguilera’s version of It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World – receiving a standing ovation from all four judges.

“It was good but it was a bit ordinary”. “I think you’re very lucky you’ve got a second song”.

Cheryl said: “I really don’t want to send anyone home, there isn’t a valid reason why because for me both are phenomenal and Lauren its really heartbreaking to see you emotional at this stage – but I’m going to send home Lauren”.
