There is no end-credit scene for Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Speaking at a press event for the upcoming movie, director J.J. Abrams was asked if “The Force Awakens” will help set up the package of new movies with some kind of Easter-egg or end-credits tag. The studio has reportedly snagged one of the coveted trailer slots before The Force Awakens to unveil the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond.

ABC News senior meteorologist Rob Marciano was on hand for the opening of the bay – an immersive attraction that allows visitors to become a Jedi and step onto the bridge of a Star destroyer or go to a hidden base, all while interacting with iconic characters from the film. The film also stars John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow.
Laying the groundwork for a bona fide cinematic universe will naturally mean a certain level of crossover between each film, though don’t expect The Force Awakens to include a post-credits sting when it releases in only a couple of weeks’ time. Warner Bros.is likely to get a slot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. 20th Century Fox already nabbed their slot for X-Men: Apocalypse.

Disney will likely want to show off trailers for Captain America: Civil War, Finding Dory and The Jungle Book.
