Manning says he doesn’t know when he’ll be back

The Broncos’ comeback win was the first loss of the season for the Patriots, whose team is now 10-1, while the Broncos are at 9-2.

The only thing we know for sure about the future Hall of Famer is that he won’t play Sunday in San Diego as Osweiler goes for his third straight win.

Manning is still working his way back from injury as he wears a walking cast. And they know what we’re doing, Peyton knows exactly that we’re trying to get him as healthy as we possibly can … With the Broncos on a hot streak and the playoffs approaching-where Manning has often struggled-that no longer seems to be the case. “I’m trying to get healthy before I try to get back”, Manning said.

Manning indicated that there is “not a whole lot of difference” between the walking cast and the walking boot.

Though he says he wants to play one more year, I do not think he should.

It was the beatings that sent Peyton Manning to the sideline with a foot injury and it’s the clobbering that Brock Osweiler is taking that have the Broncos concerned about him, too. But what you will not hear from the New England Patriots is that the Denver Broncos were a much better team and played better.

The defensive lineman was disruptive all game, finishing with four tackles, two passes batted down and a hit on quarterback Brock Osweiler.

“It’s obviously hard not being out there”, Manning said. There’s no question about it. Danny Amendola, Jamie Collins, Dont’a Hightower, Julian Edelman, Dion Lewis, Aaron Dobson, Rob Gronkowski and Nate Solder all have suffered injuries or battled illnesses this season. I’m following his instructions and I look forward to being healthy yesterday, I can assure you.

“Everybody says, “Is (the foot) better?” “A couple of those are protection issues, but they came after us, especially in the second half they came after us, blitzed us a little bit more and he’ll learn from that”.

We’re totally committed to getting our quarterback, getting Peyton healthy, and getting him back and nothing’s changed.

Brady had expressed frustration with the referees and their calls on Sunday after the game and on sports radio Monday morning, but when asked about it, he said it’s time to move on.

Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole has made plenty of headlines in the a year ago, but he apparently now has the scoop to top all scoops as we head toward the home stretch of the National Football League season. And nothing’s changed where we’re heading this week, Brock’s our starter this week and we’re all in getting ready for San Diego.
