“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC for the second half of Season 6 on February 14, 2016. The Walking Dead star was bitten on the chest at New Jersey’s Walker Stalker Con. According to UndeadWalking.com, the fan was reportedly explaining how she likes to pretend she’s married to the actor when she suddenly turned and bit him.

Life imitated Norman Reedus’ art. He is definitely no stranger to unusual fan interactions, but this is really something.

His former co-star was apparently incredibly surprised by the incident as well, with sources saying Michael had exclaimed: ‘What the f**k was that?’ The encounter resulted in the fan being banned from all future Walker Stalker conventions as well as losing the photo opportunities she had left. Norman was unharmed during the fan attack and declined to press charges against the biter since it was only a nibble. She later posted an Instagram photo with an apology.

Reedus didn’t seek any medical attention – the bite didn’t break the skin – and he was able to continue the meet and greet. “I lost my mind.got so excited standing behind him.It wasn’t my intention to hurt him”.

Reedus also took to Instagram earlier today to express his feelings on the matter. He shared a photo of himself wearing a sleeveless shirt that read: “Do Not Bite Me”.
