Indianapolis expects Hasselbeck to play with fractured rib
The Colts are now tied with the Houston Texans at 6-5, and it looks like the AFC South division will be a tight race to the last week of the regular season.

Hasselbeck’s ability to lead the Colts in Luck’s absence had been one of the feel-good stories of the NFL.
“It was just awful”, Hasselbeck said.
“I don’t know about that yet”, Hasselbeck said about starting.
As if another thrashing at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers wasn’t painful enough, the Indianapolis Colts are uncertain if they’ll have quarterback Matt Hasselbeck available for next Sunday’s trip to Jacksonville.
“I did get X-rays and I’m in a little bit of pain”, Hasselbeck said after the game. “I got cut underneath my legs and lost my legs and got hit on top of my head and got my head compressed into my neck”.
Whitehurst replaced a gimpy Hasselbeck against the Steelers after the 40-year-old quarterback suffered neck and shoulder injuries in the game and required medical attention in the third quarter. Hasselbeck was only 16-of-26 for 169 yards, a touchdown, two interceptions and a lost fumble. “I would hope that I could (play)”. “I wish I could get some plays back”. Hasselbeck has been under center for four of the team’s six wins this season.

Luck has been out the past two games for Indianapolis with a lacerated kidney and a partial tear of an abdominal muscle, and he was expected to miss 2-6 weeks with the injuries.
