Harrison Ford: I admire J.J. Abrams

Several studios are lining up to have trailers of their highly anticipated 2016 films shown before the latest installment of “Star Wars”.

The “Star Wars” universe at Walt Disney World just got a little more expansive.

The scores of reporters and bloggers attending the two-day junket for the film, which hits theaters on December 18 after months of increasingly frenzied buildup, were treated to more than the usual snacks and validated parking. “Well, I knew a helicopter pilot that flew for National Health and they were talking about driving back in a vehicle through London in traffic and, ‘Could somebody get me my phone?”

It is the first of three new Star Wars movies that were announced after Disney bought out Lucasfilm in October 2012.

“That was sort of the moment where people really starting theorising as to why that may be”, said Dominic Jones, head writer for fan site Star Wars Underworld. “But it has to be “Star Trek” now because I’ve written part of it but “Star Wars” was a huge film for me growing up”. We can’t say we’re surprised, and honestly, we don’t even think the original Redditor was super excited to see Jar Jar again. “In a way, we were going backward to go forward”. It’s also likely we’ll see the Star Trek 3 trailer pop up online before we see it with Force Awakens since it’s rare for trailers to play with movies first before being released on the Internet. I’ll tell you what.

“My nature is to be secretive”, Abrams said.

Harrison Ford returned to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” so he could work with filmmaker J.J. Abrams.

Interestingly, Abrams explained that Phasma’s striking chrome-plated look (and perhaps the character herself) spawned out of an early design concept for another character: Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren.

“Jar Jar is definitely not in the movie”, producer Kathleen Kennedy told the audience at a news conference, drawing applause and cheers from the crowd. “J.J. just sent me the temp music they scored to, I started with that beats per minute, that tempo, and then we just started writing from there”.
