Sony Xperia Z6 Range Rumoured: FIVE Handsets
Among the new and improved security enhancements, Android 6.0 brings with it features to Xperia devices such as Android Pay, the ability to pay at retail stores through a virtual account on smartphone without transmitting debit/credit card details, Google Doze that improves battery life by reducing background process when device isn’t in use, and Fingerprint Scanner for devices that support it.

Sony is rumored to be working on several variants of the Xperia Z6 flagship, and speculations are rife that the Japanese tech giant will release as many as five variants of the Xperia Z6. On the other hand, the Xperia Z6 Compact will have a 4.6-inch screen, while the Xperia Z6 will feature the standard 5.2-inch display. The announement says there will be an addition to the Xperia Z6 base model and Compact version. According to a report from Mobipicker, citing a source closely associated with the distribution network for Sony Mobile Communications, the Xperia Z6 may feature a pressure sensitive display allowing users to quickly access functions by applying varying amounts of pressure onto the display.
GSM Arena reported that the AnTuTu announcement also seemingly let out the purported display sizes of each. The Sony Xperia E4 is a 5-inch handset with a 540 x 960 pixel qHD display. In terms of hardware, four Z6 handsets could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC, whereas the 4-inch Z6 Mini is reported to run Snapdragon 620.

The report suggests that the Z6 Mini will be the smallest in the pack with a 4-inch display. The Xperia range has apparently been expanded to five devices, with rumors of high-end specs and new software features. The Z6 Ultra will be the largest, coming out as a phablet with a 6.5-inch screen.
