As you can see from the image below, Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson is this year’s cover athlete, following an impressive season in which he hit. For the newest game, gameplay perks are now unlockable through the training system to hone your baseball finesse during your career. This will allow players to make the right play when it matters most. The revamped Road to the Show mode will reportedly include more personalization, gameplay rewards, and a new system as well.

The 2016 edition of MLB The Show is arriving for PS4 and PS3.

Pre-orders for the PS4 regular and special editions of Major League Baseball 16: The Show are now available; for those that order early, there are plenty of pre-order benefits available once picking up or downloading the game: 10 bonus standard-item packs and a Player Rep Rookie Card.

“You can also expect a more streamlined Road To the Show experience, as a new paradigm for base-running and fielding opportunities will maximize the time you spend in situations that matter”.

“MLB The Show 16” will launch on March 29, 2016 with three different versions.

For $99.99, players can have the Digital Deluxe Edition (PS4 only) which will come with 11,000 stubs, 31 avatars and 24 Diamond Dynasty packs.

Sadly, it looks MLB The Show 16 isn’t in the works for the Vita, marking the first time the franchise won’t be released for Sony’s handheld.
