Did you find President Obama’s address on terrorism reassuring?
President Obama addressed the nation from the Oval Office and let the people of the United States know something important: ISIS will NOT win.

“It is clear that the two of them had gone down the dark path of radicalization…” said the president.
The address was the just the third Oval Office address in Obama’s presidency, and comes three weeks after a terrorist attack in Paris killed 130 people and four days after husband-and-wife shooters – apparently inspired by a similar ideology – killed 14 at a California holiday party. President Obama also made sure to declare that America will prevail, and “Freedom is more powerful than fear”. Farook and Malik were killed later in the day ion a shootout with police.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, a rival for the GOP nomination, said “Obama has finally been forced to abandon the political fantasy he has perpetuated for years that the threat of terrorism was receding”.
He’s called the shooting an “act of terrorism created to kill innocent people”.
“First, our military will continue to hunt down terrorist plotters in any country where it is necessary…Second we will continue to provide training and equipment to Iraqi and Syrian forces fighting ISIL on the ground”, Obama said.
Rubio said he will consider ground troops to combat the Islamic State militant group, although he has not determined a set number of troops – pending on recommendations from military officers.
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump took to Twitter to live-tweet the president’s speech.
But with the growing threat of Islamic State recruiting across the country, he challenged Muslim-Americans to do more.
He said: “We can not turn against each other by letting this fight be defined as a war between America and Islam”.
“We also must stop the flow of both public pension funds and private USA dollars into the hands of gun manufacturers who make and market the assault weapons used by terrorists, criminals and the mentally ill”, de Blasio.
“We would like to see leaders in the Muslim community stand up and speak out more forcefully in terms of condemning these hateful, radicalizing messages that we see from extremist organizations”, Earnest said at a news briefing.
Congress also has been unable to agree any plan to authorise more force against IS and the administration’s proposal has languished since February. ISIL fighters were part of the insurgency that we faced in Iraq.
“It is our responsibility to reject religious tests on who we admit into this country”.
“If we do that we lose”, Obama said. But Muslims must tackle extremism ” An extremist ideology has spread within some Muslim communities.
