CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077 Might Well Release in 2016

Since release, CD Projekt Red have been respectful to their fans by supplying 16 different DLC additions absolutely free for weeks after the release, as well as the 10-hour expansion, Hearts of Stone.

The Witcher 3 completes Geralt’s saga in the universe created by the Polish developer, but that doesn’t mean the franchise should end, especially that it’s now supported by million of fans all over the world.

Sadly, the interview didn’t contain many details about what Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be about, just that it’s going to be bigger and better than The Witcher 3, which can only put a smile on our face, considering Geralt’s adventure this year has proven to be one of the best RPG experience in recent years.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is presently available for PC platforms, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Kicinski added that he believed it would be “unfair” to fans for them to simply drop the series, hence the decision to continue it.

If you are anxious about The Witcher franchise now that CD Projekt Red has its hands full with Cyberpunk 2077, don’t worry.

Remember Cyberpunk 2077? It’s the game that The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red announced way back in January of 2013, and have since been incredibly quiet about ever since.

After winning the Game of the Year award for Wild Hunt during last night’s Game Awards event CDPR CEO Adam Kicinski was invited to speak with Polish TV station TVN24 BiS (via GamePressure). It seems Mr. Kicinski is aiming for “the biggest commercial successes in the world”, meaning there’s a lot of work to be done.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be designed for mature and demanding players who expect to be treated seriously, and the game will be richly detailed, non-linear, and with a complex and gripping story.

It 'wouldn't be fair&#x27 for CD Projekt Red to forget about Witcher fans
