Bengals can clinch AFC North title with win over Steelers

Today, it was Austin Davis, the former St. Louis Rams quarterback and Boston Red Sox draft pick, who took charge in hopes of his team getting something going.

Only four games remain before a nightmarish season ends for the Cleveland Browns.

“We knew coming in here that they had a tough loss last week”, Peko said. “We all want what is best for the Cleveland Browns”. However, Manziel, like Harden in his early days with the Thunder, shows much promise. But Green got tripped up by cornerback Tramon Williams, who was completely overmatched against the Bengals star wideout. “Like I said before, it goes back to an accurate assessment of what our problems are”.

“I’m not going to sit here and throw up the white flag and just say, ‘We’re not good enough, ‘” Pettine said. “I wish he would have picked his feet up just a little bit more, but it was a big play”. Davis put together a 230-yard, one interception performance against a Bengals team that, with the victory, sewed up the top seed in the AFC.

The team will again turn to the second-year quarterback to take the reins as its starter in a Week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, via a source informed of the decision.

The decision follows an embarrassing 37-3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in front of a largely negative crowd at First Energy Stadium.

“We haven’t had those discussions”, Pettine said. You can’t. They don’t exist.

Cincinnati needed a complex scenario to clinch a playoff berth this week, and even if that doesn’t happen, the Bengals are still poised to make the postseason for the fifth season in a row.

“We’re pleased with the guys who got the opportunity to play yesterday, their roles and what they did”, said coach Marvin Lewis.

Later, Marlon Moore went down with a rib injury, leaving Brian Hartline and recently activated rookie Darius Jennings as Davis’ only healthy receivers.

ONE GIANT LEAP: Hill hurtled himself into the arms of some Bengals fans after promising he wouldn’t perform the stunt a year after he was pushed back by Cleveland fans.

Unfortunately for Hill, things didn’t go as planned in the first half of his sophomore season, as he hit a wall and was thoroughly out-produced by Giovani Bernard for the vast majority of the 2015 season. “But it’s done, it’s over with”. We’ve been playing really well and there’s some new pieces.

It was Cleveland’s most lopsided loss since a 41-0 drubbing by Pittsburgh on December 24, 2005.

The blowout raised more questions about the franchise’s direction, and Pettine, who is just 2-15 in his last 17 games, said there’s not complete agreement on what should be done to fix things. We come into every game thinking we’re going to win. Losing is the worst feeling, especially when you know you are letting others down, people that spend their money to come see us play.
