The first half played into the Colts hands, but they failed to take advantage of all the great field position the defense and special teams gave the offense (four red zone trips, just 10 points).

After Sunday’s visit to Jacksonville, the Colts entertain the Texans Dec. 20, are at Miami Dec. 27 and close the regular season at home January 3 against Tennessee.
There isn’t too much to be said about last night’s loss to the Steelers. “We still have all our goals in front of us”.
But generally, the Steelers are proving – albeit within a small sample size – that two-point attempts in the first three quarters (nine of their 10 attempts have come before the fourth quarter) are usually worth the gamble, regardless of the scenario. Pagano said he’s “fairly confident” Hasselbeck will play Sunday against Jacksonville despite suffering a mild rib separation and sore/stiff back in the 45-10 loss to the Steelers. Has anybody told Andrew Luck that you only need one kidney? If Hasselbeck can’t go, say hello to the Charlie Whitehurst Era. But he was under severe duress all game, constantly pump-faking and pump-faking again. “They played well in all three phases”.
Hasselbeck left the game after being injured by his own center.
“Yes, it looked like he was, ” Pagano said. We just did not execute. We will find out in the next two weeks what Tomlin’s team is made of.

Guard Hugh Thornton (elbow) joined tackle Anthony Castonzo (knee) on the inactive list, forcing another change in the offensive line. D’Qwell Jackson is the Colts top tackler with 122, Jerrell Freeman has 82 tackles, and Mike Adams has five interceptions.
