The Q Founder also promises up to 24 hours of use in between charges, step tracking and calorie counting, and a stainless steel design that’s IP67-certified, allowing you to get it wet without having to worry about it breaking down.

Fossil’s first ever Android Wear smartwatch is now available at the Google Store with the search giant saying shipment will be within 1-2 days. You can order it right now!

There are two versions of the smartwatch: one features a steel-finish bracelet while the other one comes with a leather band and a stainless steel. The leather variant isn’t yet available to order, but Google has announced that it will be in the near future – it will cost $275. The display is 240ppi at 1.5 inches. The new smartwatch released by Fossil will surely be bought by many Android Wear enthusiasts, especially since the Christmas holidays are soon upon us and we will find ourselves in need of buying the ideal gift for our loved ones.

Let’s talk technicalities. Fossil Q Founder is the latest Android Wear model which, just as the Tag Heuer Connected is powered by Intel’s Atom CPU.

There is one other smartwatch powered by Intel. Fossil is one of the most popular fashion watch brands in the world. But theirs comes with a hefty price tag of $1,500.

And to be frank, $295 for an Android Wear smartwatch isn’t that lavish – it’s nearly $100 cheaper than the second gen Huawei Watch.
