Los Angeles Lakers guard, Nick Young, couldn’t handle his frustrations as he got into it with Detroit Pistons Anthony Tolliver.
The play occurred with 8 minutes, 57 seconds left in the fourth quarter, when Young tried to dunk over Detroit’s Anthony Tolliver, who fouled him.
Tolliver appeared to say to Young after the altercation, “It’s just a foul”. Young went down hard, got up and pushed Tolliver.
For acting unreasonable after the foul and shoving Tolliver, Young was promptly ejected from the game, and many suspected that the league would hand down a suspension since he put his hands on another player. That said, he he was asked about it after the game, Young wasn’t exactly apologetic, and it’s clear the reaction wasn’t to the foul as much as his season-long struggles, overall.
“It’s tough”, he said. Still, Lakers coach Byron Scott argued Young “probably overreacted”. Scott also said he’s talked to Young about the situation and that there’s an understanding between them. It is obvious that Young is caught in the web of frustration that the Lakers have on their head these days.

Young went scoreless in seven minutes, as he missed all three of his shots, and he said he was “shocked” that he played against the Pistons at all.
