Tamriel Unlimited Free To Play This Weekend
Zenimax Online Studios announced today that players interested in The Elder Scrolls Online can play the game for free starting on December 10 until Monday, December 14 for both Xbox One and PC/Mac. PC players will have to jump through a few hoops, but can download the game now once they obtain a Free Play Weekend code from various gaming sites listed on the Elder Scrolls Online website. In addition, you’ll be entered to win $1 million (USD). Players on these platforms can preload the game right now and start playing from December 10 to December 13. Bethesda said it’s working with Sony to offer a similar offer for PlayStation 4 players “in the near future”. Whether you win the million or not, have fun out there! Fill in your details and type in “Elder Scrolls Online PC” in the question that asks, “Subscribing for a contest?” Xbox LIVE will sell 1,500 crown packs at 25 percent discount, 3,000 crown packs at 33 percent off, and 5,500 crown packs at 40 percent off. PC will have the same discounts available, but will also have 750 crown packs available for 25 percent off.

As for the $1 million? Here are the discounts.
To grab it on Xbox One, all you need to do is download it from the Xbox Store after the free weekend has begun. But when you get past that initial excitement of the prize, you have to wonder just why they would go to such extraordinary lengths to get people to play their game for a weekend.
These free weekends don’t guarantee a turnaround, though. It’s beta was rough, but I’ve heard nothing but good things from my friends who are playing it now.
For those unfamiliar, Elder Scrolls Online (ESO for short), is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the world of the Elder Scrolls.
