Instagram’s Allows Android Users To Replicate 3D Touch Without Buying iPhone 6
The newest update to the Android version of Instagram includes almost a direct port of the iOS app’s 3D Touch user interface, with two big differences: the new feature is only available in the app (you can’t do anything new with the home screen icon), and you have to long press to activate the feature, since Android phones don’t have pressure-sensitive screens – something unique to the newest iPhones. While the latest version for Android obviously doesn’t take advantage of force sensitive hardware (which doesn’t really exist of this side of the mobile space anyway), it does add a nifty new pop up for quickly liking, commenting, and sharing posts…

3D Touch feature was quite loved by the users. On iOS, users have to press harder on the display in order for the Peek function to work; either way a photo inside of Instagram pops up in the same manner. Now Android users can long press on an image thumbnail to see it bigger.
You do not have to open the photo with this feature.
The feature was pretty much a huge win for iPhone, if you are looking for this sort of thing, since there aren’t a lot of Android devices that have this option. A small screen will come and your photos will be shown.

Although it’s only available in the beta version of Instagram, we can safely assume that it will make it to Google Play Store very soon.
