The Defenders are Unlikely To Be In The Avengers: Infinity War
“Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others”, Russo continued, expanding his answer to touch on the deals Fox has, granting it control of Marvel’s Fantastic Four and X-Men characters.

It’s no surprise, then, that when interviewed by Super Interessante about the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War”, the conversation with director Anthony Russo eventually turned to the ” Avengers: Infinity War” films.
Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and starring Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, Captain America: Civil War hits United Kingdom cinemas on April 29 2016 and May 6 2016 in the US. A part of the story. The superhero is set to return to the big screen under the Marvel Studios banner, with Tom Holland playing the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
It’s complicated. When we start to serialize the telling of stories it’s hard. He was always a part of the story. Marvel has made movies with real stakes and delivered characters that are a lot of fun, often in the same movies. One of the characters that gets more screen time and an added dimension is Scarlet Witch – played by Elizabeth Olsen.
The director also said those characters who do not appear in the “Avengers” franchise will be responsible for providing the humour. We’ve known since Ant-Man was released that the character would appear here, and it’s interesting to see him hanging out with Captain America in his civvies! But the truth is, we never had a plan B. We only have envisioned the movie with Spider-Man.
“…we are still working on some things, like the uniform. He’s not ready yet because so much will be produced with special effects”.
What could that possibly mean?
Civil War boasts a cast rivalling that of the Avengers movies. Or maybe the Russo brother’s are not talking about the costume at all but Spider-Man himself? People are used to Spider-Man quipping witty one-liners during fights with the bad guys or-in this case-against the opposing team and it’s no different in this film. Stands to reason this could be the case for this film, as well. As storytellers, we only have control over what happens in Marvel movies, but everything is possible, Spider-Man became possible!

One of the concerns that a fan of the MCU might have had after seeing the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War would be along these lines: there isn’t much balance to it. It’s very serious.
