The December 2 attack was executed by a married couple, Syed Farook, a 28-year-old United States citizen who worked for the local county in environmental matters, and Tashfeen Malik, 29, a Pakistani national.

Chapman, who surrendered to police authorities, was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.
