Robert Gordon University strips Donald Trump of honorary degree
Robert Gordon University, which gave Trump an honorary DBA (or Doctor of Business Administration) in 2010 said in a statement on Wednesday that it was revoking the award.

Meanwhile, Robert Gordon University revoked his honorary degree over comments that are ‘wholly incompatible with the ethos and values of the university’.
Dr Kennedy, who handed back his own honorary degree in protest at the award, said at the time: “Mr Trump is simply not a suitable person to be given an honorary degree and he should not be held up as an example of how to conduct business”.
Earlier, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon removed Mr Trump’s status as a business ambassador for Scotland with the GlobalScot network.
Mr Trump sparked outrage when he called for a “total and complete shutdown” of all Muslims entering the United States “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on”. I am glad that so many people feel the same way that I do.
However, Chancellor George Osborne yesterday turned down demands for Trump to be banned from entering the United Kingdom for “hate speech”.

Prime Minister David Cameron has described Mr Trump’s views as “divisive, unhelpful and quite simply wrong”.
