British official: No plans to ban Trump over Muslim remarks

In the wake of the attack Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump took his most aggressively anti-Muslim stance so far by calling for Muslims to be barred from entry into the United States.

Mr Osborne also dismissed a claim made by Mr Trump that the Metropolitan Police are afraid to enter areas of London because they are over-run by radical Islamists.

Ted Cruz, for example, gave perhaps the mildest response to Trump’s Muslim policy, saying he disagrees with him but did not criticize him.

An online petition has surpassed the 100,000-signature threshold that means a committee of lawmakers must consider it for debate in Parliament.

Trump’s place at the lead of a densely-packed Republican primary field has drawn criticism and some concern over the future of the party.

Those are just a few choice words Muslim youths across metro Detroit had for Donald Trump after his latest rhetoric Monday called for a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States”.

“If the United Kingdom is to continue applying the “unacceptable behaviour” criteria to those who wish to enter its borders, it must be fairly applied to the rich as well as poor, and the weak as well as powerful”. White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the comments effectively “disqualifies him from serving as president”.

Britain has no plans to ban Donald Trump over his comments about Muslims despite a growing number of calls for his exclusion, the country’s Treasury chief said Wednesday.

“Those who rejoice in Trump’s comments do not know enough about Jewish history to understand what happens when we begin down the road of hatred toward foreigners, contempt for the law and religious discrimination”, he wrote on Facebook. That includes 52 percent who say they strongly support the proposal. “They want our cities to be crushed”.

“It’s until the country’s representatives can figure out what’s going on”, he said.

The GlobalScot network was set up by the Scottish Development International, the investment and trade promotion agency of the Scottish Government, to promote Scottish businesses around the world. He said the ban could be lifted “very quickly if our country could get its act together”.

In the interview, Biden also declared that Trump’s appeal isn’t sustainable, while also saying Hillary Clinton “wins in a walk” in a head-to-head matchup against Trump in the general election.

Having topped 100,000 signatures the petition now has to be considered for debate by parliament and will require a written government response
