By the time Sanchez then limped out of the contest in the second half, Arsenal had already lost Laurent Koscielny to a hip injury while Santi Cazorla was playing on despite taking a blow to his knee.

But when he was asked whether Arsenal could be without Cazorla until March, he said: “It’s possible”.
When quizzed on whether Sanchez’s tussle with Bennett had anything to do with the former Barcelona star’s ensuing hamstring injury, Wenger responded rather nonchalantly. The guy said it’s a clear case.

Every Arsenal fan would want a chance of seeing Wenger pick up the Premier League crown, but the spate of injuries certainly is not helping the Gunners.
Cazorla’s misfortune might be a blessing in disguise for Aaron Ramsey who has been eager to play within the Spaniard’s central midfield position.
