The two top diplomats also condemned all forms of terrorism and resolved to cooperate with a view to eliminating the phenomenon.
Wednesday’s breakthrough is largely seen as the result of a much-awaited meeting between the two countries’ national security advisors earlier this week in Bangkok.
They are so powerful there that once the Government of Pakistan handed over administration of Swat Valley to Talibans but due to USA hand stand revoked it. Mrs Sushma Swaraj addressing the Meet said that Afghanistan was putting up courageous fight to meet the Talibans menace.
Earlier in the day, Swaraj said Pakistan and India should set aside decades of mistrust foster equilibrium and to invigorate the area’s markets.
She refused to share what she would be discussing with Pakistani leaders, but said, “What will happen during the talks will be known after meeting”.
We will start a fresh comprehensive bilateral talks between India and Pakistan, which will have several pillars.
While the main focus of the two-day meeting in the Pakistani capital, which began on Tuesday, is Afghanistan, Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj is attending, offering a chance for India and Pakistan to breathe life into efforts to improve their ties. “Let me take this opportunity to extend our hand to Pakistan as well”.
Swaraj noted that the “entire world is waiting and rooting for a change”. “Let us not disappoint them”, she said.
She added that on “our part, India is prepared to move our cooperation at a pace which Pakistan is comfortable with”.
He said Afghan special forces had been forced to launch more than 40 operations against the TTP and that the country was now a hotbed of worldwide jihadis.
Islamabad-In a dramatic way, after a lapse of seven years, Pakistan and India on Wednesday made a decision to re-launch dialogue process on all outstanding issues, in tandem including Kashmir, Siachen, peace and security, terrorism and trade.
“The foreign secretaries of both countries will meet and chart out the agenda for the meetings”, Ms Swaraj told reporters after meeting her counterpart, Sartaj Aziz.
Since November 2008 attacks in Mumbai, in which 164 people were killed and over 300 injured, the relations between Pakistan and India have been dominated by New Delhi’s demands that the perpetrators be brought to justice and that the Islamabad gives assurance that it will prevent any such attacks in future. They will also address people to people exchanges and religious tourism, according to a joint statement issued after the meeting between the two sides.
“We wanted more than the existing subset in the composite dialogue that is why it was renamed”, the sources said.
