LeSean McCoy has no intention to retract from the racist remarks he made about Chip Kelly, the Philadelphia Eagles coach.

Kelly took a diplomatic approach toward McCoy during a conference call with Buffalo-area reporters.

LeSean McCoy (Running Backs): Can anybody say REVENGE GAME!

Kelly said Thursday he was surprised when McCoy was traded because he was informed the deal wouldn’t be executed, and thereby anticipated the two men would have the opportunity to meet. “We’ve got nothing to talk about”. “If he doesn’t want to shake my hand, I understand that”. There’s nothing he can do with me.

Jenkins said knowing McCoy’s tendencies won’t help him and the rest of the Eagles’ defense at all on the field Sunday.

“I just think we give players passes”. I know he’s looking forward to coming back into the stadium. He knows how I am. “There’s nothing he can tell me”. “There’s nothing he can talk about”. “There’s just nothing for us to talk about”. “I stand by everything I said before”.

“The relationship was never really great”, he told ESPN then.

“You know what? I’m going to keep his conversation private”, McCoy said. There’s no need for that. There’s nothing for us to talk about.

LeSean McCoy had a blunt response to Eagles Coach Chip Kelly’s offer to shake hands on the field Sunday in Philadelphia. His whole football career was rooted in the Keystone state, until this past March.

Thomas added that he expects a “big game” out of McCoy, half-jokingly predicting that he will rush for over 200 yards. The Bills genuinely believe that they can run on any team in the league, and they have delivered far more often than not on that belief this season. I’m sure there’s people that you don’t have an issue with, that you don’t get along with _ not get along _ that you don’t have a problem with.

“There were times in training camp where I was (thinking), ‘Oh, my goodness”. Best to win the game, then see who’s willing to exchange pleasantries. I’m not going to get into an argument with him or a fight with him. You might recall that LeSean McCoy played several seasons there and left because Chip Kelly didn’t feel like he fit the system (or something like that).

“It hurts me that they put their own identity, their own egos in front of the team”, he said, “because this is a team game, man. It’s always been that way. Every coach is different”. The rules for the team are to play with respect and to constantly play for the logo on the helmet. He has 3 100 plus yard games in the last 5 and now the Eagles are allowing 28 passing touchdowns.

“… It’s hard to explain with him”. We have a way that we do it that I think is the right way to do it. And it wasn’t exercised in that way. There’s some dudes over there, I’m going to shake their hands. Trading away a high-priced player to bring in a more productive high-priced player makes sense. You leave the guys you practice with the whole year out there.
