West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed the Hammers will train at Rush Green rather than Chadwell Heath from next week onwards.

The West Ham manager admits that it is going to be a tough few weeks for the Hammers as they look to trudge along without their key players but believes it provides a wonderful opportunity to the rest of the squad to show character and determination.

Reid is expected to be out of action for up to six weeks with his latest injury described as serious. “At Stoke’s training ground with decent pitches (plenty of rain also!) we had minimal injuries, me and my groins/muscles injuries, in the early years at Stoke, were absolutely fine”.

Reeling squad West Ham United FC (6-4-5, 23 points) will try to stop its five-game losing skid as it faces slowly rising Stoke City FC (6-5-4, 22 points) at the Upton Park on Saturday, December 12 for a 2015-2016 Premier League season encounter.

“We were planning on moving the training ground to Rush Green at the end of the season; now we are moving that forward”, he said. The pitches here at Chadwell Heath are soft on top, but hard underneath, which is the worst combination. “Of course it’s a big blow for us because they are six very important players, but we are going to move on and we have to get over this period without them”. I decided on Monday next week, we will go.

Winger Moses and defender Reid were this week ruled out until the new year with hamstring damage on Thursday, which proved the final straw for the Croatian.
