Karma is the name of GoPro’s upcoming drone

There’s not much information about the drone-in terms of what it looks like or how much it will cost-in the video or on its dedicated website. The Phantom 3 Standard costs around £650, including a camera capable of shooting 2.7k video, that is stabilised via a brushless gimbal.

With GoPro starting to begin the marketing of the Karma, it is possible that they are gearing up for a launch at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which begins in Las Vegas on 5th January 2016. GoPro has assured the viewers that no post production editing tools have been used to enhance the video. Some reports state that GoPro is expected to sell nearly one million quad-copters.

New capabilities have also been added to GoPro apps for other iOS devices as well as Android products. You can connect your camera to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, in order to use it as a remote.

Viewing 4k content from GoPro on iPhones is also still problematic, even though iPhone 6s supports it. Unfortunately, the video formats are different so downloading and taking clips of 4k video from the GoPro on iPhone won’t work.

The two price cuts and the drastic drop in share price validate the argument that GoPro’s latest model of action camera was a major flop. However, a WiFi connection is necessary. These include the ability to more easily select and download still images from video, and a new filtering function that makes finding photos, videos, HiLight Tags, and clips easier and faster, GoPro said. Furthermore, it gives you the option to preview shots and adjust certain settings.

If you have a GoPro camera and don’t already have the app, it’s designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
